Hi quilty friends!
We are so excited to officially announce the FCMQG fall workshop with Timna Tarr! She will be here to teach us about Map Making with Fabrics. Check out her website to see some examples, along with many other awesome works of art. She is also on instagram @timnatarr. There will be a short trunk show/lecture, and then we’ll jump right into learning this fun and unique way to quiltify a geographical location that is near and dear to you.
When: Sunday, August 26, 2018 10am – 4:30pm
Location: The workshop will be held in the Estes Park meeting room of the McKee building, located at The Ranch/Larimer County Fairgrounds.
Registration info: There is availability for 20 students. We will begin accepting deposits at the June meeting next week, through the July meeting on July 12. If there are still spots available at that time, we will open them up to outside members. We don’t want anyone to miss out, so please let one of the leadership team know if you want to sign up but aren’t able to make it to the June meeting.
Deposit amount is $40, with the balance due at the workshop.
We hope to see everyone at our meeting next week, but feel free to respond with any questions you have before then!
